Dr Matt Domingo

actor | voice over artist | medical doctor

Matt is an award-winning Sri Lankan-Australian actor. A qualified medical doctor, singer, dancer, musician and voice-over artist, his unique skill set is highly sought after across stage and screen.

His rare perspective, shaped by his upbringing across regional Queensland and years in demanding healthcare fields—including general medicine, surgery, critical care, paediatrics, and psychiatry—is unparalleled. Extensive clinical experience with people from all walks of life allows him to imbue his work with profound authenticity and emotional depth. This strong foundation, coupled with his work ethic and lifelong passion, has landed him roles in internationally acclaimed productions, including the award-winning crime drama 'High Country' (Binge/BBC/Hulu), Logie nominated children's hit 'Rock Island Mysteries' (Nickelodeon), and highly anticipated releases such as the live-action 'Voltron' film (Amazon MGM) and drama series 'Two Years Later' (Paramount+)

His remarkable stage presence and versatility as a triple threat performer have established a strong reputation across the Australian theatre scene, with companies like Melbourne Theatre Company, Queensland Theatre, JUTE Theatre Company, Hayes Theatre Company, and the Brisbane Festival. These collaborations have connected him with renowned theatremakers, including Shakthi Shakthidharan, Vidya Makan, Kate Miller Heidke, Keir Nuttall, and Simon Phillips. In 2025, Matt made his Queensland Theatre debut in the true story 'Back to Bilo' and originated the role of Hamish in the world premiere of 'O Ophelia'.
